Hey everyone,

you may have noticed that we’ve had to adjust our prices for the United States as of February 25 (again). The first reason is the new tariffs imposed by the US government (again) effective from February 24, 2026 through July 24, 2026. This surcharge of 10 % is in addition to any other duties, taxes etc. already applicable.

For example, if you order one of our OFLAIN bags, the standard duty rate of 17.6 % applies, then another 10 %, adding up to 27.6 %. Both rates are calculated from the base price of the product. There are some other charges related to shipping, but those are minor and have always been there.

Another reason is the shipping cost, which ended up higher than previously
expected. So unfortunately, we had to adjust for that as well.

We understand that we’ve reached a point at which our products may become too expensive for many. So, Nicole and I have decided to only add half of the new surcharge – 5 %. While this still means an overall price increase, we hope it softens the blow somewhat.

Important:
All tariffs and duties are already included in the product price you
see at checkout (shipping costs remain separate). This means there
should be no additional customs fees when your parcel arrives in the US.
